How it was tested

Power is read at the wall.

That includes supply losses.

So it reads higher than the miner reports.

The wall number is what you pay for. That is why it is the one recorded.

The card and its riser run off their own supply.

Nothing else in the system is counted.

Best efficiency here is Ergo at 0.444 MH/W.

Worst is Monero at 17.2 H/W.

Tuning pays best on Ethereum. Stock gives 13.69 MH/s at 90W. Tuned gives 30 at 74W, worth 119 percent.

Watch your rejected shares as you go.

BE WARNED: an unstable overclock shows up in rejects long before it crashes. Ignore the rejects and you mine for hours and get paid for a fraction of it.

Ethereum Ethash

30 MH/s at 74W, lolMiner 1.50

memory +1150 MHz in Afterburner (about +2600 in HiveOS), core 1342 MHz at 731mV via the curve editor

Full rate restored by a later Nvidia driver, which removed the LHR limiter. About 120W before the core is tuned, and it holds the same 30 MH/s all the way down to 731mV

These are dated measurements. A hashrate is only true for the driver and miner version it was taken on. Miners get faster. Chains change. Check the date before you plan around any of it.
