Working out an overclock from scratch on every new coin is a waste of a week. hashrate.no already publishes numbers for most cards on most algorithms, and it hands you the miner config alongside them. Treat what it gives you as a starting point and not a final answer.
Open hashrate.no and go to the GPUs section.

Find your card. An RTX 3090 for example.
Pick the coin you are mining. Kaspa for example.
The overclocks are listed there, per miner.
Underneath them it also gives you the miner options that set that overclock inside the miner itself.
Copy the config for the miner you actually run. LOLMiner and BzMiner do not take the same arguments.
Open your workers and select the rigs with that card in them.
Edit the flight sheet.
Open miner setup and then the miner config box.
Paste the copied config in.
Apply it.
Push it out with Update in all workers.
This is the part that wastes an afternoon if nobody tells you.
Some of those config strings are written for a Windows .bat file. BzMiner is the usual offender.
A .bat line and a HiveOS extra config arguments box do not take the same shape, so pasting it straight in gets you a miner that will not start.
Hover the info icon next to the field to see what parameters that miner actually accepts.
Then rewrite the arguments into the shape HiveOS wants, keeping the same offsets and the same values.
The numbers are still good. Only the packaging is wrong.
The site has a general profitability calculator that takes your power cost.
The individual coin calculators are better.
They let you enter the miner fee and the pool fee as well as the power cost.
Those two fees are real money and leaving them out flatters the result.
Enter all three and the number you get back is one you can plan against.

Current network difficulty per coin.
Which pools are being reported.
Market data, though the coverage there has gaps.
It is worth knowing the whole site exists rather than only using the overclock page.
